Foundation Course: 1 Year

At this level, you start your Vocal Music Learning by exploring the basic fundamentals of Singing. This is the stage where you get to know really interesting blend of biological, psychological and strategical balance of voice.

Now, as you have experienced notes placement and right usage of voice in Level 1, let’s explore the next layer of music theory with the help of Rhythm, more Alankars and structured songs.

  2. Introduction to Scales, Octaves, Root note variation
  3. Knowledge on Taal and Tempo
  4. 1 Bhajan, 1 Bollywood Song, 1 Prayer and Sargam Geet
  1. Introduction to Hindustani Classical Music
  2. Difference between Indian and Western Notation format  सा रे गा मा | C D E F
  3. Rhythm/ Taal
  4. Teen Taal
  5. Bhajani
  6. Types of Voices, including western vocal exercises
  7. Swar Leepi
  8. 1 Bhajan, 1 Bollywood Song with Keyboard/Harmonium playing technique
  9. Introduction to Ghazal and Western style
  10. Finger Practice Sessions (To improve synchronization between playing and singing)

(In above level – You may or may note have the learning on Keyboard, it will depend upon availability of instrument at your side, however we suggest to have any one of mentioned instrument to fast track your learning)
